Thanks! I couldn't find a clearcoat that was actually clear, and that would stick to a polished frame without needing to be etched or primed first. with the mirror polish, the aluminum doesn't tarnish (probably will after years, but didn't at all last year), but it's easy to scratch which is why I used the film. I may still take it to a body shop to have it sprayed with good clearcoat, but will likely still 3M film it after.
